Our First- Oriental Themed Wedding

Last August 2012 was our first full flower arrangement for wedding.

The preparation went just fine. We had few meetings with our clients but it was just reasonable since the couple is based in Australia and they have a wedding coordinator that does everything for them, literally :)

The couple is also clear with their wedding budget particularly for the flower arrangement for the entourage, church and reception venue so it was almost perfect.

The first church venue was perfect; it was in the city vicinity and only few minutes away from the reception venue. Logistics on our end is manageable.



So where did our share of struggle all started?

Change of church venue! Definitely adjustments have to be made. The new church lacks some of the amenities like the red carpet and the location itself is a challenge. But we have to deal with it right?

This is only the tip of the iceberg as they say… Because the real challenge happened few days to hours before the wedding day!

There was a typhoon! We ordered special flowers intended for this wedding. But the flood didn’t subside!

Everything is water under the bridge… hhhmmmm water is everywhere but our flowers still stood the test of the typhoon! =)

Nobody knows except our team what we have gone through. Oh! we still informed the wedding coordinator and the couple but as always, we will substitute/replace of equal or higher quality/ value depending on the availability.
